Default My 2008 Z51 Coupe

2008 Corvette. LS3, 436hp

2LT - Equipment Group Coupe
026 - Cobalt Red/Black Two Tone Interior & Sport Seats - very rare!
FE3 - Sport Suspension - included with Z51 option
GU6 - 3.42:1 axle ratio
MN6 - Six Speed Manual Transmission
NPP - Performance Dual Mode Z06 Type Exhaust - A must have factory option, very cool, it sounds great, and adds 6 HP.
QG7 - Forged 5 Spoke High Polished Aluminum Wheels - "Gumby" style & new for 2008
Z51 - Performance Package - What's the point of a Vette without the optional, and very popular, track package?

Mods:
Halltech Killer Bee CAI
MGW Short Throw Shifter
BlackBear Performance tune (In person) with Autocal.
M2W exhaust switch for NPP.
12.48 @ 116 mph (timeslip from PO...stock tune).

I found my car on Corvetteforum classifieds and flew to Nashville to meet the seller (he is from Huntsville AL), drove it, bought it and drove it home in May 2012. Stopped at NCM on the way home. Also stopped for some pics in St Louis along the river (floodwall pics) near the Arch.

I arrived in Nashville Sat around noon, seller picked me up at airport and we drove to car. Drove it and spent a few hours with him and the car, then met my wife's brother and his wife for dinner in Nashville (they live there). Got up early Sunday morning and headed for Bowling Green, toured the NCM and hit the road for home by 1pm. Stayed overnight near St Louis and drove home to St Paul on Monday, home by 3pm.

Pics from roadtrip:

Note the thought bubble. Unplanned, total coincidence...honest to God.

How it looks at the moment. :fume:

Interior mod...leather padded console cover:

Last spring's mod was installing an MGW Short Throw shifter and shift box.

ZR1 style spoiler is next. Should be arriving shortly, but won't be installed til spring.

Chiclet debadged immediately upon arrival home.

Nice pick up on the Jeff. So were all those mods on when you got it or did you add those after? I like the red!

Real nice! Love the interior with the red on the seats. How many miles were on it when you bought it and how many now?
